Wishing for Spring

I have been looking for any tiny bit of green in the landscape that I can but to no avail so I painted this small 6 x 8 last night. I just kind of made everything up- and it's about as green as I could paint it. I will still be searching for some signs of spring around here but until then , it will have to exist in my imagination.

I take it you are not yet back in Colorado. Before I read your article I thought maybe you were.

Hi Glenna- I'm sorry that my post was rather confusing. I am back in Colorado and I guess painting in the desert spoiled me. I got so used to painting green and now I would like to find something green around here in Colorado but can't so I just started to make up my own green landscapes in the comfort of my kitchen! Lol

Hi,

Don't know much about colors and painting. But as looking at very first time, painting is very nice.

As for me, painting is very big deal. ut looks very nice imagination and choice of colors.

Nice.

Love, love, love this.
Now you are starting to get me thinking about green. . . .
but really- it's the shapes that are so fabulous.

Thanks Coni- now I am going to be even more specific- I am wishing for spring tomorrow. I don't want to paint snow for the art walk- I am really whining here but i don't want to freeze tomorrow!

Hi Sue, I like this one too. Back lit subjects are a lot of fun. And the brush strokes are right on. I like the way you handle a brush. Nice piece.
