A Very Large Commission

I haven't been painting outside because I just haven't had the heart for it yet- but that is about to change- Coni and I are planning on painting outside tomorrow- I'm keeping my fingers crossed- AND... we are hoping to meet Peggy  in Antonito to paint- or somewhere in that area.

The above painting is a study for a very large commission that I am working on.  It will be approximately 44x68 finished- just trying to work out the details.  The little one painted pretty easily- I have a feeling that the large one isn't going to be as effortless.....

A nice commissioned piece. I'm sure they will love it. You guys enjoy your outing. I'll be going out down here.

How did the painting out go? I hope you got to go. I'm back to work so the plein air has slowed way way down. I miss it.

Sadly Eldon we didn't make it-- it was very cloudy and called for snow so we opted out until a nicer day- I guess you could say we were wimps...
