This little church is not far from where I live- it is the La Garita Church and is nestled against some lower hills and mesas. I taught a workshop last fall and took my students to this little church to paint- I think they enjoyed it- I hope so- as it was the only day that the weather was nice enought to actually get outside to paint. I love this little church - I'm not sure if it is use right now or not but it looks as if activites are stirring and care for the grounds and nearby graveyard are painstakingly groomed.
