Canyon Shadows- 11x14 This painting was done in approximately an hour- by necessity I might add. The shadows come quite fast in this deep canyon and although I loved this spot to paint, the light just moved a little quicker than I had hoped. The snow wasn't all that deep yet but I will try to make it up the canyon to do some more- I suppose there has to be at least two more feet up there by now.
